Brass turned parts for industry since 1971
Quality, technology and customer focus are at the heart of Filomatica Maros’s mission. Founded in 1971, the company has grown steadily, specialising in the production of small metal parts until it became a point of reference in automatic turning from wire. Over the years it has adapted to the many needs of the market, and today it is a highly specialised manufacturer of custom brass turned parts for a range of industries, above all the electrical and electronics sectors, serving mainly international markets. Many customers have been with the company for decades, some since 1971.
A fully in-house production cycle
Filomatica Maros produces brass turned parts machined from wire and bar for lampholder terminals, connectors for terminal blocks and printed circuit boards, terminals with cable clamps, domestic and industrial plugs and sockets, spacers and fastening components. The entire production cycle takes place within the plant: turning, threading, knurling, flattening, screw fitting, assembly, tin plating and barrel finishing. Production runs in series, with minimum batches of 100,000 parts and a capacity of up to 50 million parts per month. Each customer’s tooling and drawings are kept on file, ensuring full repeatability of every job over time. Brass is sourced exclusively from European suppliers and is traceable batch by batch; the quality management system is certified to ISO 9001:2015.
